Siri is coming to iPad 2! After the video was shown the porting of Siri on iPhone 4, a device which natively does not have this feature, we inform you that the developer Sonny Dickson seems to be able to run, at least in part, the porting of Siri on second-generation iPad!

At A technical level even if it is pure theory, porting Siri on iPad 2 should be even simpler than seen on the iPhone 4. The reason is very simple the hardware of the iPhone 4S, the only device on which the Siri was originally authorized by Apple is very similar to the iPad 2. The processor in particular it is perfectly identical, and this last aspect is what is most interesting to many developers and hackers.

As you can see from the above screenshots, Sonny Dickson was able to enable the Siri in the Settings menu. Currently we have no screenshot or video showing the execution of Siri on second generation iPad but as mentioned earlier the porting of Siri on iPad 2 might not be a totally impossible.
