Samsung: dismissed the action against Apple in France

France rejected the demand for Samsung to block sales of the iPhone 4S. Samsung ordered to pay 100,000 euros in favor of Apple. Similar proceedings underway in Italy, Australia and Japan.

It was in France rejected the lawsuit filed against Apple some time ago by Samsung and the latter was ordered to pay court costs.

The South Korean manufacturer had sued Apple at the Tribunal de Grande Instance of Paris with the aim of blocking the sale of iPhone 4S in French territory. Samsung accused Apple of the alleged infringement patents concerning 3g technologies. Similar lawsuits have been launched in Italy, Australia and Japan (unexpectedly withdrew, however, in South Korea).

The French Court held "disproportionate" Samsung's request, cancelled the proceedings and ordered the producer to pay 100,000 euros in favor of Apple.
