With a new tweak PowerSaver, available in Cydia, you can limit the battery consumption on your iPad by selecting a set of rules to enable and disable those features of iOS that affect your tablet battery autonomy after several hours of use.

Why waste the battery unnecessarily limiting the autonomy of the iPad when, with simple actions, you could avoid being "dry"? Actually not all iPad owners are attentive to this aspect and often out of laziness or forgetfulness, avoid manually run a series of operations (for example disable Push notifications, GPS, reduce the level of brightness of the display, turn off Push Mail, and so on) that would limit the consumption of battery while using the phone. From today there is a solution to this problem, and is fully automatic!
With PowerSaver you can select a series of actions that will be done automatically on iPad whenever the battery level - as a percentage - less than a set value. Let's say that you want to minimize the brightness of the iPad when the remaining battery indicator reaches the 20%: to do so, simply open the menu settings, and then go to the heading PowerSaver and fill one of the fields-action present by inserting, at the first entry, the percentage of battery for the activation of the changes, in our case the 20%, and second what action to take, in our case, reduce the brightness of the iPhone.
We can select and activated multiple actions simultaneously. The PowerSaver will handle all automatically depending on the user-specified commands. Below is the lis of options included in PowerSaver.
- Disabling the WiFi
- Turning on Airplane mode (disable all connections)
- The reduction of livelo brightness of the display
- Running a respring (charging Home)
- The execution of a reboot (restart IPAD)
- And much more!
Installing PowerSaver does not provide for the inclusion of any icon on the Home of your device. Tweak preferences, as specified above, can be adjusted directly from the settings menu by accessing the appropriate entry.
PowerSaver can be purchased from Cydia store, find the tweak in the BigBoss repository. The program is compatible with all devices upgraded to iPhone OS 4 or higher.
