Apple has started selling the new smartphone iPhone 4S. The first could get the people of Australia and a little later the happy owners of trendy gadget will be Japanese, Britons, Germans, Frenchmen, Canadians and Americans.

After 2 weeks sales geography will be extended for another two dozen countries, including most of Europe. Starting date of the official sales of iPhone 4S in Europe not yet known.

iPhone 4S could break the record of starting sales to all smart phones. Previously it belonged to the iPhone 4 models, which flew for the first weekend in an amount of 1.7 million copies. Analysts from Yankee Group predicts that sales of iPhone 4S for debut three days would amount to 4 million pieces.

"It can easily outrun any predecessor" agreed to colleagues Charlie Wolf an analyst at Needham & Co. his partly helped by the fact that the first iPhone will soon have three U.S. operators.
