Downcast is updated and takes our podcasts to iCloud

We inform you about Downcast just over two weeks ago, calling it a good podcast Manager especially if we have decided to dispense with the synchronization of iTunes in our iOS devices. And as we said then, Downcast has been updated with a key feature: integration with iCloud.

Downcast

Using the new Apple cloud we can synchronize our podcasts, episodes, preferences and playlists. The result is that we can have Downcast in multiple iOS devices and its content will be always synchronized on all of them. And now the illustration of the podcast is playing appears on the lock screen (even if a podcast has several illustrations in one episode), the downloads will restart automatically in case of failures, especially long podcasts will be treated better.

Also fixed bugs and improved performance, error messages, video player and playback using AirPlay. The price remains 2.10 dollars, placing Downcast and their synchronization with iCloud into a tool that surpasses even the management of current podcasts in iTunes when it loads a number of feeds.
