As of tomorrow the new Archos Tablets - first only in the 8 GB variant - should be available with us in Germany. I think, it could probably still last a few days longer, until they are also really available with various dealers, but it is possibly worth for the 16 GB or also 250 GB versions to wait itself anyway.

So these could really (like hoped for) not only with one more highly tact end to come processor (1.5 GHZ Dual Core) on the market, but rather also with 1 GB RAM. At least according to comtech. de, there one can read about this in the technical data (Thanx at Chris B. for the tip). To be sure GB RAM stands there also in the 8 GB models 1 what, at least in the current devices, momentarily the case is not. Does whether Archos yet yet not increase that, with 512 MB very so well to the 1 GHZ Dual Core processor of suitable RAM? To wish for would be it, on which IFA pleased me the Performance the Tablets with 512 MB RAM not especially, this made definitively noticeably.

The models with 16 GB and 250 GB will appear in any case later than the 8 GB version, my hint would be to be still waited, if one liked itself to add the Tablet, particularly since the 16 GB than the 8 GB version is not so many more expensive. At least until we know finally whether " besseren" Models really 1 GB RAM possess.

Here in any case already once a first Unboxing Vdeo of the Archos 101 G9 with 8 GB which would be allowed to correspond of the measures of also the 16 GB version.
